Background:
Songs from Upstate New York was the setting for a live performance one Winter evening, at Sweet's (railroad) Station in Edmeston, New York. The cover photo was taken by Rusty Rust, in Nashville, Tennessee. This is a remastered digital copy of an old reel-to-reel tape that was restored and remastered by Terry Hughes | Rubber Ball Productions in North Brunswick, New Jersey.
"You can hear my good friend Rich Andrews saying 'Talk is cheap, Alan' in the introduction of the last song ... Rich was aiming his retort at some producers from New York City who would be listening to these recordings; who were in the process of offering me a recording and publishing deal."
~Alan
